Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Java and Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
- Build React-based web applications, conversational UIs, and interactive widgets using TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Develop GenAI and agentic AI prototypes and production solutions using Python, Vertex AI, ADK, RAG, embeddings, vector search, tool calling, and prompt engineering.
- Build MCP integrations, AI tools, conversational applications, and LLM-powered workflows.
- Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on GCP using GKE/Kubernetes, Docker, Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Secret Manager.
- Develop data pipelines using Dataflow, Apache Beam, or Spark when required.
- Implement testing, monitoring, logging, observability, resiliency, security, Responsible AI, and cost optimization practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and create reusable engineering patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience with strong enterprise application development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/JDK 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, object-oriented programming, data structures, design patterns, and REST APIs.
- Experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes/GKE, relational databases, NoSQL databases, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.
- Experience with Git, Maven or Gradle, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Exposure to building GenAI or agentic AI solutions and moving proofs of concept toward production.
- Preferred experience with Vertex AI, Google ADK or comparable agentic AI frameworks, MCP servers/tools, ChatGPT integrations, conversational AI, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, event-driven architectures, Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code, LLMOps, IAM, JWT/OAuth, Okta/IAP, and Secret Manager.
