Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services for AI Platform products.
- Develop REST APIs with request validation and error handling.
- Work with relational and NoSQL data models.
- Create asynchronous processing flows using queues and workers.
- Build real-time UI features for conversational interfaces.
- Implement state management for streaming UIs.
- Deliver features end-to-end, owning both backend and frontend.
- Write automated tests for backend and frontend.
- Debug production issues across service and UI boundaries.
- Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards.
- Grow skills in secondary stack with support from senior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least three years of professional fullstack development experience.
- Strong expertise in either backend or frontend development.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern UI framework.
- Experience building and maintaining REST APIs in production.
- Familiarity with relational databases and/or NoSQL data stores.
- Understanding of asynchronous processing patterns.
- Proficiency with Docker and modern development workflows.
- Strong testing discipline with unit and integration tests.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure in a production context.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn.
