Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture, implementation, technical guidance, and mentoring for digital twin and simulation systems without direct line-management responsibility.
  • Apply MBSE methods and maintain traceability from requirements through implementation.
  • Develop real-time simulation algorithms, behavioral models, kinematics, dynamics, control-system interactions, and physics-engine integrations.
  • Create and validate OpenUSD-based scenes, assets, schemas, and digital twin environments from component through facility level.
  • Build Omniverse 3D models, visualization interfaces, dashboards, operator experiences, automated test pipelines, and reusable tool libraries.
  • Integrate simulation, telemetry, design, asset-inventory, infrastructure, and operational data from multiple systems and formats.
  • Evaluate simulation libraries and real-time rendering technologies, and support debugging, performance analysis, reliability improvements, and model verification.
  • Establish engineering practices for OpenUSD, Omniverse workflows, version control, documentation, releases, design reviews, and code reviews.
  • Communicate technical progress, risks, and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor-level degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of engineering experience in automation, simulation, or controls.
  • Experience designing, building, or maintaining digital twin, simulation, 3D visualization, or engineering platform software.
  • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, including Omniverse Kit, extensions, connectors, or related development workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of OpenUSD/USD composition, layering, schemas, assets, and scene-graph workflows.
  • Experience with data center operations, infrastructure environments, operational planning, or complex technical-facility management systems.
