Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and support secure production software solutions.
- Build and deliver new payment flows end to end for a fully cloud-based payments application.
- Review and debug code written by other engineers.
- Drive responsible, secure, and compliant adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Establish validation standards covering secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Promote reusable engineering patterns and leading-edge technologies.
- Lead architectural evaluation sessions and software engineering communities of practice.
- Coach engineers on safe AI adoption and contribute to team diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
- Hands-on software coding experience with a proven record of success.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, ideally Java.
- Experience with system design, application development, testing, automation, continuous delivery, and operational stability.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience coaching engineers on compliant AI adoption in delivery practices.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and knowledge of cloud-native practices.
- Understanding of application resiliency, security, financial services, and IT systems.
- Preferred: hands-on AI experience, understanding of core AI concepts, and the ability to own delivery end to end.
