Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET automation tools.
- Build tooling that converts Excel-based device templates into structured outputs.
- Develop and refine applied machine learning models for telemetry classification.
- Perform feature engineering and data preparation on historical datasets.
- Prototype ML approaches in Python and transition logic to C#/.NET.
- Validate telemetry data quality and mapping accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and verify end-to-end data flow using Azure IoT and related services.
- Modify and enhance existing databases and legacy systems.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding efficiency and increase automation.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Write technical documentation for long-term maintainability.
- Mentor teammates through code reviews and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on C#/.NET development experience.
- Experience building production-ready tooling and backend automation workflows.
- 3+ years of applied machine learning or classification experience.
- Strong SQL and database development experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and deliver against project commitments.
- Experience documenting technical work for maintainability.
