Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor on high-value payments implementations and expansions, shaping integration approaches, system configuration, and solution design.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable architectures and integration blueprints, including appropriate use of APIs and third-party connectors.
- Lead technical discovery with sales teams by understanding customer systems, data flows, and workflows.
- Troubleshoot integration hurdles and guide customers through complex configuration decisions without writing code directly.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to deliver implementations on time, within scope, and to a high quality standard.
- Create internal documentation, playbooks, and lightweight tooling for integration-heavy use cases.
- Provide customer and integration feedback to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap prioritization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Finance, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology or financial services implementations.
- 8+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services experience in SaaS, fintech, consulting, systems integration, or enterprise implementation.
- Proven success delivering cross-functional projects involving executives, technical teams, and operations stakeholders.
- Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills, including leading steering meetings and influencing decisions without direct authority.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with API-based payments integrations or products.
- Preferred: experience managing strategic or enterprise engagements within broader account teams while protecting technical quality and scope.
- Preferred: ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments using structured and pragmatic decision-making.
