InformaticaResponsibilities
- Build and support APIs and integrations using MuleSoft.
- Develop reusable integration components and API policies for enterprise systems, data platforms, and AI applications.
- Support onboarding, governance, access control, and lifecycle management for agents and MCP servers through Agent Fabric.
- Enable secure agent-to-system connectivity using APIs and MCP-based patterns.
- Monitor API traffic and security signals with Wallarm, including API discovery, security policy enforcement, and anomalous-behavior investigation.
- Troubleshoot integration and API issues using logs, metrics, requests, responses, and platform telemetry.
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, deployment automation, platform configuration, production operations, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain documentation and operational runbooks and participate in code reviews and engineering standards.
- Collaborate with data, application, security, and AI teams to implement integration requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of software engineering, integration engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or related experience, including internships or substantial project experience.
- Programming or scripting experience with Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Foundational knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, authentication, API integration, web services, messaging, data transformation, and system connectivity.
- Understanding of Git, source control, testing, code reviews, CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, and modern application deployment concepts.
- Basic understanding of application and API security, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, and secure coding practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues using logs, API requests and responses, system behavior, and monitoring data.
- Preferred qualifications include MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience; API-led connectivity; OpenAPI or RAML; Agent Fabric and agent orchestration; Model Context Protocol and agentic AI concepts; generative AI, LLM APIs, AI application development, or retrieval-augmented generation; Wallarm or API security platforms; OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWTs, or API keys; Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, observability tools, Terraform, Ansible, or scripting.
- Coursework, internships, personal projects, or open-source contributions involving APIs, integration platforms, cloud services, cybersecurity, or AI agents are valued.
