Responsibilities
- Develop backend applications using Ruby on Rails and object-oriented programming.
- Work with REST/RESTful services, JSONAPI, web development, and SQL databases.
- Use Git and Git-flow in a Scrum-based project environment.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed technology and business teams.
- Work Saudi Arabia hours from 13:00 to 21:00, Sunday through Thursday.
Requirements
- At least 2.5 years of experience in the IT field.
- Backend experience using Ruby on Rails.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, web development, and SQL databases.
- Experience with REST/RESTful services and JSONAPI.
- Experience with Git and Git-flow.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Availability to work Saudi Arabia hours, 13:00–21:00 Sunday through Thursday.
- Nice-to-have experience with Angular, Bootstrap, SCSS, Golang, Dart/Flutter, TypeScript, Kafka, or Redis.
