Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, simulate, and execute automated testing for functional, regression, performance, and validation requirements.
- Improve and maintain automation frameworks and develop reusable libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, acceptance criteria, and automation backlogs.
- Track metrics, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, mitigation techniques, and coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop automated testing tools and software validation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with development, Agile delivery, business subject matter experts, testers, support personnel, users, and clients.
- Support continuous deployment practices by developing strategies, formalizing processes, and providing tools.
- Perform backend and database programming for key projects.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debug data, designs, and performance reviews according to Wipro guidelines.
Requirements
- Mandatory Python experience for insights.
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Experience designing and executing automated testing tools, test plans, test cases, and validation processes.
- Experience with functional, regression, and performance testing automation.
- Ability to perform backend and database programming.
- Ability to develop technical specifications, resolve complex design issues, and troubleshoot system problems.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams, business stakeholders, testers, support personnel, users, and clients.
- Knowledge of automation architectures, reusable frameworks, software validation, defect management, and deployment practices.
