Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Kotlin.
- Design and implement scalable and secure microservices.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical improvements.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Work on CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Optimize system performance and reliability.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and team discussions.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
- Experience with Spring Boot and modern backend architectures.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Fluency in English and German.
