Responsibilities
- Create and execute functional, system, regression, manual, and automated software tests.
- Develop, maintain, and document test cases and automated test scripts.
- Investigate, capture, and track bugs and issues using logs and development tools.
- Review requirements and acceptance criteria and identify gaps, edge cases, and non-functional risks.
- Provide test estimates and execute testing as part of Agile Scrum teams.
- Own quality for large features or applications from requirements through production.
- Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, QA, operations teams, product managers, and stakeholders.
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Explore AI-based tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency and automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing, Software Quality Engineering, or Quality Assurance.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX in a testing or support role.
- Familiarity with formalized software test practices and methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems and modern development workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with an automated test tool such as Playwright, Selenium, or QTP is preferred.
- Experience using C#, Python, SQL, or other scripting languages for UI and API testing is preferred.
- Experience with SVN, Git, or TFS is preferred.
- Experience with test or defect tracking tools, test automation frameworks, automated quality practices, or AI tools for automation is preferred.
