Responsibilities
- Design, configure, test, and deploy bidirectional integrations, APIs, workflows, and data pipelines between PTC Windchill and downstream or upstream systems.
- Map Windchill PLM structures, including parts, BOMs, change objects, CAD structures, and documents, to external system schemas.
- Optimize integration flows for high volume, low latency, and operational resilience, and troubleshoot interface, memory, performance, and data-transformation issues.
- Implement cross-domain traceability and data-governance solutions supporting data integrity and audit requirements.
- Manage integration deployments across development, test, and production environments and maintain upgrade-tolerant interfaces.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data maps, and deployment documentation with Solution Architects and Functional Analysts.
- Connect Windchill with ERP, MES, ALM, and legacy engineering databases using low-code/no-code and API-driven integration approaches.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of development experience with PTC Windchill.
- Strong technical knowledge of PTC Windchill architecture, business object models, data structures, and integration methods, including REST APIs, Info*Engine, and OData.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, XML, JSON, database connections, SQL, JDBC, and event-driven architectures.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly, take initiative, solve problems independently, and follow work through to completion.
- Preferred: knowledge of enterprise platforms that integrate with Windchill.
- Preferred: experience with Java, Python, or SQL for custom data transformations and advanced scripting.
