Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the automotive vertical experience for a large European e-commerce marketplace.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot.
- Develop frontend features with React and TypeScript using existing components and Microfrontend architecture.
- Design and maintain distributed, microservices-based solutions.
- Focus on code quality, testing, performance, and reliability.
- Work with Google Cloud Platform and SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
- Build and maintain technical and business monitoring for products and features.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and OpenCode in daily development.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver and improve platform features.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin and experience building scalable backend applications.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot for modern applications and APIs.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed microservices architectures.
- Strong focus on code quality, testing, application performance, and technical and business monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, OpenCode, or other agentic coding tools.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
- Good knowledge of React and its ecosystem.
- Solid understanding of semantic HTML5 and responsive CSS layouts.
- Practical knowledge of accessible web applications aligned with WCAG standards.
- Cloud platform experience, especially Google Cloud Platform, is preferred.
- Knowledge of relational SQL and NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB, is preferred.
- Practical SQL knowledge and experience with Microfrontend architecture are preferred.
