Responsibilities
- Analyze business objectives and customer requirements to propose effective technical solutions.
- Provide effort estimates and contribute to solution planning, architecture, design reviews, and delivery.
- Develop, code, unit test, peer review, and document software solutions.
- Plan and manage software releases, rollouts, hotfixes, patches, schedules, and release notes.
- Provide estimates and technical input for pre-sales activities, PRS responses, and design workshops.
- Collaborate with customers and project teams on requirements, specifications, and proposed solutions.
- Perform risk assessments, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues with code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Support customer go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and deployments across customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant discipline; MCA and MSc in Computer Science are also listed as examples.
- 7.5–10 years of total professional experience.
- Experience with Java, Ext JS, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
- Experience with API design, development, and testing, including JSON and XML file transformations.
- Prior Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platform experience is preferred.
- Experience with test management and test execution.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, database tools, source control, operating systems, and command-line usage.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, SQL Developer, SQL Management Studio, Windows, Linux, Unix, and JIRA.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and AI tools such as Cursor AI, Replit AI, and GitHub Copilot.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, make informed technical decisions, communicate effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide technical guidance.
