Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend services integrating AI and machine learning capabilities.
- Develop and optimize APIs that power AI-driven product features.
- Build clean, maintainable, reusable code focused on scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to connect user-facing experiences with AI-enabled backend logic.
- Implement and improve distributed systems and data pipelines.
- Use LLM APIs to build intelligent workflows and automation.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and architecture discussions.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and backend engineering practices.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a backend or full-stack engineer, with exposure to AI/ML integrations.
- Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot, with familiarity with Python for data processing or AI integration.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or BigQuery and writing efficient queries.
- Comfort working with AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD tooling.
- Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and microservices.
- Interest or experience building AI-enabled products, including work with OpenAI API, model fine-tuning, or prompt engineering.
- Strong communication skills for explaining technical ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, collaborative approach and willingness to contribute ideas and improvements.
