Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust build and deployment systems for efficient software delivery.
- Automate build, installation, packaging, and deployment processes across Linux, Windows, and macOS.
- Maintain reliable build pipelines and enable development teams through effective tooling and automation.
- Support full-lifecycle development of scalable build systems for multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with engineers, product management, and operations in a distributed team.
- Mentor other engineers and communicate technical ideas clearly.
- Apply debugging, analytical, and data-driven problem-solving to key engineering initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, and automation skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with microservices and cloud-based architectures or design patterns.
- Proficiency with build tools such as CMake, Make, Gradle, or Maven.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Git or SVN and branching strategies.
- Experience with software packaging and installation tools such as InstallShield, NSIS, or WiX Toolset.
- Solid understanding of Linux, Windows, and macOS operating systems.
- Experience deploying applications with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with Java is a plus.
- Experience with SQL Server or MySQL is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed team.
