Responsibilities
- Own architecture and design decisions for secure, scalable customer solutions aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
- Design and develop backend, frontend, and integration applications that bring data and AI to enterprise users.
- Deliver production-grade systems from data ingestion and transformation through ML/AI model integration, user-facing applications, and enablement.
- Embed with customer teams and engage stakeholders from technical individual contributors through executives to understand challenges and deliver impact.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Field Engineering across the pre-sales and post-deployment customer journey.
- Create reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices that scale across accounts and influence the Databricks product roadmap.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background across backend, frontend, and systems integration.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java or Scala, JavaScript or TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and deploy production applications combining data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user-facing interfaces.
- Familiarity integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini into applications and using AI code-generation tools.
- Proven record of delivering technical solutions in enterprise environments with measurable outcomes.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders ranging from technical contributors to C-level executives.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to explore new technologies, domains, and customer challenges.
- Native-level fluency in Korean and professional working proficiency in written and spoken English.
