Responsibilities

  • Test infrastructure performance, verify requirements, and collect and analyze monitoring data in test and production environments.
  • Perform infrastructure assignments involving deployment, automation, integration, scaling, resilience, and performance assessment within documented parameters.
  • Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and documentation while validating outputs and following data sensitivity and security requirements.
  • Consider upstream and downstream data, systems, and technical implications, and escalate issues to appropriate leadership.
  • Support software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement using development tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
  • Proficiency with hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments.
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and the software development life cycle.
  • Experience with a high-level programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or shell scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
  • Experience with public cloud offerings for compute, storage, networking, messaging, and automation, including CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build relationships to achieve common goals.
  • Preferred: experience administering Linux and/or Windows systems.
  • Preferred: experience supporting end users through ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
