Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, and support AI-powered applications, workflows, models, services, and data pipelines.
- Build AI assistants, document extraction workflows, process automation tools, user-facing tools, and integrations using Python and AI/LLM technologies.
- Support model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, retraining, and corrective-action workflows.
- Analyze and improve model performance, reliability, latency, cost efficiency, and operational behavior.
- Monitor deployed models for performance issues, drift, and other operational concerns.
- Create and maintain reusable code, documentation, and tooling that support consistent team delivery.
- Collaborate with data science, product, data engineering, platform, business, and technical teams to deliver AI solutions.
- Communicate progress, risks, and technical considerations to team members and stakeholders.
- Apply technical standards and coding guidelines while adapting to changing priorities, requirements, and data challenges.
Requirements
- A university degree, such as a bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 3–6 years of experience in software engineering, AI, data engineering, or a related field.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience building business applications.
- Experience with AI/GenAI solutions and large language model technologies.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or OpenAI/Azure OpenAI APIs.
- Experience working with complex, structured, or unstructured enterprise data.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, planning, time management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and work effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and external customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Nice-to-have experience with SQL, data modeling, OCR, document processing, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, ERP or other enterprise business systems, and Azure or other cloud platforms.
