Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and services using Java, REST APIs, and cloud-based technologies.
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions and improve architecture and technical design.
- Contribute to distributed systems focused on reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence.
- Own features and services from concept through deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Develop automated tests and quality strategies that support continuous delivery and rapid feedback.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams to deliver software on schedule.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement durable resilience improvements.
- Share knowledge, mentor peers, evaluate emerging technologies, and contribute to technical growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience developing web applications and services using Java, REST APIs, and related technologies.
- At least 2 years of experience with Java, JavaScript technologies, SQL and database development, API development, and systems integration.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, security, testing, and system design.
- Experience with web applications and APIs using Java and modern development frameworks.
- Experience or familiarity with JavaScript, Node.js, React, Angular, relational databases, third-party integrations, cloud-native architecture, automated testing, version control, observability, CI/CD, and Agile delivery.
- Ability to analyze complex technical challenges and deliver pragmatic, maintainable solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering and product teams.
- Preferred experience with AWS, cloud-native application development, application modernization, Agile/Scrum, IntelliJ, VS Code, Git, Jira, enterprise and legacy system integration, identity and access management, and relevant technical certifications.
