
Senior Software Fullstack Engineer
Bristol Myers SquibbResponsibilities
- Collaborate with global Product Managers, Engineering Leads, Architects, and patient safety stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, cloud-based full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, PostgreSQL, and related frameworks.
- Build microservices, REST APIs, UI components, integrations, reusable libraries, and business workflows using Camunda BPM or equivalent platforms.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, SDLC documentation, secure coding practices, and vulnerability remediation.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC, validation, audit, data integrity, and regulated life-sciences requirements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, troubleshoot complex issues, and support L2/L3 operations teams.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers and promote strong engineering practices.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.
- Strong backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
- Strong frontend experience with ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle; NoSQL familiarity is preferred.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, ECS, S3, and IAM.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or comparable CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Camunda, Bonitasoft, PEGA, or a similar BPM platform.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven design, Docker, containerization, and modern architecture patterns.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted engineering tools and prompting or evaluating LLM outputs for engineering tasks.
- Familiarity with ML/AI application concepts, OCR/NLP basics, model and service integration patterns, and responsible AI considerations.
- REMS, pharmacovigilance, patient safety, GxP, validation, or regulated life-sciences experience is preferred.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, communication, collaboration, ownership, and leadership abilities.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- AWS, Agile, or BPM technical certifications are advantageous.
