Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver secure, high-quality software solutions.
- Write, review, debug, and maintain production code across multiple technical areas.
- Lead responsible adoption and validation of AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Establish secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and AI-output validation standards.
- Identify and automate recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability.
- Lead evaluations of vendor, startup, and internal architectural designs and technical capabilities.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Python, Spark, AWS, and SQL.
- Experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and validating their correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the software development life cycle and practical cloud-native experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Preferred experience with AWS services and Kafka.
