Responsibilities
- Define and facilitate solution architectures that align enterprise capabilities, processes, technology, data, and people.
- Consult with business partners, delivery stakeholders, sponsors, and technology teams.
- Define, create, and maintain solution architectures and architecture artifacts for applications, projects, and support.
- Drive architectural decisions and establish the technical vision and direction for solutions.
- Develop architecture solutions, technology roadmaps, and proposals supporting business plans.
- Ensure quality designs when addressing infrastructure and development issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency and incorporate new architectural patterns or technologies.
- Act as a trusted technology advisor and advocate for business units.
- Mentor less experienced architects and developers or engineers.
- Keep current with technology and industry trends and support compliant solution design and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of related experience in technology environments.
- At least 4 years of experience working as an architect on large-scale projects.
- Experience leading architecture activities with Enterprise Architects or Portfolio Architects.
- Experience with UML, TOGAF, Archimate, the 4+1 View Model, and LeanIX.
- Architecture experience spanning Business, Information/data, Application, Technology, and Security disciplines.
- Experience in Wealth Management technology ecosystems.
- Business acumen, financial knowledge, and ability to calculate Total Cost of Ownership and Return on Investment.
- Ability to communicate high-level concepts to technology and business stakeholders and build collaborative relationships.
- Strong analytical ability, including big-picture thinking while maintaining appropriate detail.
- Understanding of organizational structures, policies, practices, standards, and compliant solution delivery.
- Ability to challenge business and technical constraints, simplify complex concepts, and operate independently in ambiguity.
