Base Salary
$280k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead technical co-sell motions with Microsoft, including reference architectures and shared POCs.
- Build end-to-end POCs and MVPs with partner engineering teams.
- Run load tests and establish performance baselines against customer traffic profiles.
- Deploy and validate new model families on inference frameworks.
- Guide customers on model selection and fine-tuning strategies.
- Design evaluation frameworks to measure production-quality metrics.
- Surface partner-driven product gaps to Fireworks engineering.
- Ship external technical content to assist partners in winning deals.
- Track pipeline health and flag risks and opportunities to leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a pre-sales, partner engineering, or technical consulting role.
- Proven ability to build production software with customers.
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with LLM inference and its trade-offs.
- Experience with fine-tuning models, including LoRA.
- Deep familiarity with the Azure AI stack.
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse stakeholder interactions.
