Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain clean, reliable, testable Windows software and services.
- Use AI tools responsibly throughout the software development lifecycle and validate AI-generated changes.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, design, applied science, privacy, security, and SRE partners to deliver scalable, user-centric features.
- Use customer feedback and telemetry to improve feature quality, reliability, and production readiness.
- Participate in on-call rotations, troubleshoot live-site issues, and improve telemetry, technical support guidance, and fixes that reduce incidents.
- Contribute to automation, tooling, documentation, and broader engineering and operational improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience involving coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is preferred.
- Preferred candidates have technical engineering coding experience and a demonstrated ability to learn continuously and collaborate across teams.
