Base Salary
$85k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own feature delivery from requirements and technical design through implementation, validation, deployment, monitoring, and post-release support.
- Build scalable, secure, highly available backend services and distributed systems using C#/.NET and Azure.
- Participate in on-call rotations, investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and improve service reliability.
- Apply AI/ML technologies, build and evaluate AI-powered solutions, define quality metrics and evaluations, and use AI-assisted development tools.
- Create telemetry, dashboards, and monitoring solutions to measure system health, customer impact, performance, and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data science teams through design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven coding experience in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree with 1+ year of technical engineering experience, or a master's degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems and cloud services using C#, .NET, Azure, or similar technologies.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML technologies, LLM-based applications, evaluation frameworks, experimentation, or AI-assisted software development tools.
- Preferred: experience with telemetry, monitoring, dashboards, live-site operations, and production-service on-call rotations.
Benefits
- U.S. base pay is listed as $85,400-$168,100 per year, with a separate $111,100-$183,700 per year range for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan locations.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.
