Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement telecom components, applications, and services for customer ordering, billing, subscriber management, and notifications.
  • Partner with Satellite, Networks, and Security engineering teams to integrate customer engagement systems with the core network.
  • Design scalable components, services, and data models for high-reliability communications workloads.
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, deployment, operational support, and permanent root-cause resolution across the software development lifecycle.
  • Document system architecture and mentor teammates on software construction, operation, and maintenance.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
