Responsibilities

  • Develop ML platforms that enable data scientists to perform end-to-end MLOps.
  • Design and develop end-to-end machine learning systems with data science teams.
  • Evaluate design options, tools, and utilities for MLOps implementation patterns using Vertex AI.
  • Create solutions and perform hands-on proofs of concept.
  • Develop scalable generative AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, Google Professional Services, consultants, program managers, architects, subject matter experts, and technical leads.
  • Establish best practices for data products supporting model training and monitoring while considering regulatory and legal compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in solution, application, ML engineering, and DevOps.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in analytics, MLOps, and engineering solutions for ML-based models.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Deep understanding of cloud hosting concepts and implementations, preferably with GCP experience.
  • Experience with engineering design patterns, secure interoperability standards, enterprise frameworks, engineering tools, and processes.
  • Strong containerization experience using Docker or Podman.
  • Understanding of cloud security, Identity and Access Management, encryption, network security, and related security tools and techniques.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and DevOps principles, including automated testing and deployment pipelines.
  • Demonstrated industry experience developing production-grade traditional ML and generative AI systems.
  • Proficiency with agentic AI frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
