Base Salary
$170k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own modules end-to-end, including design, implementation, evaluation, release, and iteration
- Make design decisions within assigned modules and ensure their production quality
- Ship weekly releases to live financial institutions
- Build with LLMs and use agents to accelerate routine work
- Develop evaluation harnesses that verify model outputs
- Own meaningful engineering scope within a lean organization
Requirements
- Approximately 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience designing, building, and shipping production software end-to-end
- Experience building real products with LLMs and rigorously verifying model output
- Ability to own production quality after launch
- High agency and ability to independently identify problems and close loops
- On-site availability in downtown San Francisco five days per week
