Base Salary
$170k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own software modules end-to-end, including design, development, evaluation, shipping, and iteration
- Make design decisions within assigned modules and be accountable for production quality
- Ship weekly releases to live financial institutions
- Build with LLMs and direct agents toward routine engineering work
- Create evaluation harnesses that verify model output and production correctness
Requirements
- Approximately 2–5 years of professional experience designing, building, and shipping production software end-to-end
- Experience building real products with LLMs and rigorously verifying model output
- Ability to own module design, implementation, evaluation, release, and post-launch quality
- High agency and ability to identify problems and close loops independently
- Daily use of frontier AI tools is expected
- On-site availability in downtown San Francisco five days per week
- Early-stage startup engineering, open-source contributions, competitive programming, fintech, or banking infrastructure experience is a bonus
