Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions and functionality in a microservices environment.
- Write, test, refactor, debug, and review code for large-scale distributed systems.
- Develop APIs and process telemetry, structured, and unstructured data using ML/AI algorithms.
- Execute automated testing and contribute to software deployment and integration.
- Collaborate across engineering and product teams to deliver software components and automated solutions.
- Create and maintain technical, end-user, and operational documentation.
- Prototype multi-vendor infrastructure solutions and showcase them internally or to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Seasoned software development experience, including microservices and RESTful API development.
- Expertise in one or more of C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Node.js, plus software design, data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Office 365, cloud infrastructure, and deployments.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores, including Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and LXC/LXD container runtimes.
- Experience working with large datasets and applying ML/AI algorithms.
- Experience across the software delivery lifecycle, including development, source control, testing, mocking, work tracking, and defect management.
- Experience working with geo-distributed teams through innovation, pilot, and production phases.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals and relevant agile certifications are preferred.
