Base Salary

$220k - $225k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build the Pilot Rail human-in-the-loop approval interface, execution-wave UIs, and policy-gap reporting surface.
  • Develop connector health APIs, infrastructure-as-code template generation endpoints, plan envelope management, and approval chain services.
  • Contribute to shared platform capabilities including signed context packets, plan state machines, agent panels, and audit logging.
  • Build end-to-end product features across React components, API routes, and database schemas.
  • Design and develop secure, scalable, multi-tenant software across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Integrate AI agents, LLMs, cloud AI platforms, and agentic frameworks into onboarding and platform experiences.
  • Write maintainable code, tests, participate in code reviews, monitor deployed services, investigate errors, and design graceful degradation.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine requirements and contribute to engineering standards.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of Staff or Associate Principal-level professional software engineering experience, including at least one year building production web applications.
  • Experience working across the full stack and writing readable, maintainable code.
  • Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Amazon Bedrock, or agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Experience building REST APIs in Python or a comparable language, with knowledge of HTTP semantics, JWT authentication, and relational database design.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and understanding indexing, ORMs, and raw SQL.
  • Experience using Git in a team environment with branching, pull requests, and code review.
  • At least one deployment to AWS, Azure, or GCP and a basic understanding of the path from code push to user availability.
  • Preferred experience with React, TypeScript, component lifecycle, and state management patterns.
  • Preferred experience with forms, tables, multi-step workflows, browser API integration, WebSocket or Server-Sent Events, and graceful handling of loading, error, and stale-data states.
  • Preferred familiarity with identity and access management concepts including SSO, SAML, SCIM, RBAC, JIT access, and privileged access management.
  • Preferred experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Terraform, AWS CDK, or ARM templates.
