Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements for software modifications, including affected programs, expected behavior, documentation changes, and test scenarios.
- Maintain, enhance, design, develop, test, and deploy software systems and product modules.
- Develop Java server-side components using object-oriented programming, multithreading, exception handling, and generics.
- Build frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or TypeScript.
- Implement communication between application components through RESTful web services and APIs.
- Manage MariaDB databases and use SQL for data manipulation and performance optimization.
- Prepare program documentation and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
- Collaborate with QA, developers, designers, stakeholders, services teams, support teams, and other R&D groups.
- Mentor junior software engineers and organize formal and informal training on new product technologies.
- Provide customer issue support and act as a backup for the Team Lead when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 3 years of experience as a full-stack developer.
- Proficiency in Java, including core concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience with Spring, JUnit, Maven or Ant, and familiarity with Progress development tools and technologies.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks.
- Working knowledge of RESTful web services and API design.
- Experience with MariaDB, SQL, and database management systems such as PostgreSQL.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex problems effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Shell scripting and Python scripting experience is a bonus.
- Passion for learning and staying current with new technologies.
