Responsibilities

  • Build and ship AI-enabled products, APIs, agentic solutions, integrations, and shared platform capabilities.
  • Develop reusable components, libraries, SDKs, templates, reference implementations, tooling, and engineering patterns.
  • Build and operate enterprise integrations, agent platforms, MCP servers, gateways, and shared technical services.
  • Create governance, guardrails, policy controls, environment management, evaluation approaches, and platform standards for safe AI delivery.
  • Work with architects, engineers, product teams, and domain teams to improve AI adoption across BNZ.
  • Contribute to secure, observable, operable, production-ready AI delivery in a regulated banking environment.
  • Share knowledge, support the growth of other engineers, and continuously improve AI engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or TypeScript, modern frameworks, backend services, and APIs.
  • Experience building AI-powered solutions such as agents, orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, LLM-backed services, or AI-enabled product experiences.
  • Experience building, onboarding, or operating shared technical capabilities such as enterprise integrations, cloud services, agent platforms, MCP servers, gateways, or reusable tooling.
  • Working knowledge of secure production delivery in regulated environments, including observability, operability, identity, and access controls.
  • Experience developing governance and guardrails, including platform standards, environment management, policy controls, evaluation approaches, and guardrail frameworks.
  • Experience creating reusable libraries, SDKs, templates, and reference implementations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, sound judgement, adaptability, engineering discipline, and willingness to learn and help others grow.
