Responsibilities
- Configure and customize IFS FSM systems and lead PSO parameter configuration using recommended best practices.
- Design, build, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize reliable .NET applications and related native or mobile applications.
- Create database schemas, work with external and embedded databases, and support business processes through scalable data solutions.
- Develop API integrations, including authentication, data parsing, error handling, and integration with external services.
- Own development activities, technical risks, technical spikes, proofs of concept, experiments, implementation issues, and deployment support.
- Provide technical leadership, lead discussions, and collaborate with engineering managers, developers, business stakeholders, product owners, designers, vendors, and other platform owners.
- Support production enhancements and resolve issues related to recent releases.
- Apply DevOps practices, build CI/CD pipelines, automate testing of IFS FSM modules, and support frequent production deployments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in the IT industry.
- At least 2+ years of experience configuring IFS FSM solutions.
- Hands-on experience with IFS FSM configuration, customization, UI design tools, client scripting, and FSM mobile application design.
- Proficiency in Modern C#, .NET, React or React Native, Azure cloud architecture, object-oriented programming, API integration, and backend technologies.
- Experience with external and embedded databases, database schema design, large software components, and application performance optimization.
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with Jira or similar issue and project tracking software.
- Experience providing technical leadership, managing technical risks, and working with business stakeholders and multicultural Agile teams.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines, implementing test automation for IFS FSM modules, and integrating microservices, SDKs, and external platforms.
- Experience translating field service management and service business processes into sustainable, scalable IT solutions and understanding IFS hosted solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous-improvement skills.
