Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python tools, Nuke gizmos, and workflow utilities.
- Support compositing workflows and troubleshoot production issues in Nuke.
- Create, test, document, and release production tools and templates.
- Work within proprietary pipeline and asset management systems.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and improve pipeline processes.
- Assist with documentation and training materials for artists and new hires.
- Provide technical support to artists and collaborate with compositors, supervisors, and pipeline teams.
Requirements
- Experience with Python and Nuke scripting.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to support artists in a production environment.
- A demo reel illustrating relevant artistic and technical experience tailored to the role.
- Nice-to-have experience with BlinkScript, Qt/PySide, TCL, Lua, C++, Maya, Katana, Houdini, Arnold, RenderMan, V-Ray, Docker, asset management systems, pipeline workflows, compositing, lighting, or other VFX disciplines.
