Base Salary
$240k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, POCs, and pilots for security opportunities.
- Serve as the security architecture subject-matter expert for ransomware recovery, immutable and air-gapped vaulting, identity resilience, and DSPM.
- Design reference architectures and lead technical workshops across regulated-industry use cases.
- Create account-specific solution briefs, architecture diagrams, executive narratives, and business cases.
- Understand customer technology footprints and collaborate with security partners on joint solutions and technical co-selling.
- Provide field feedback for product-roadmap planning and maintain accurate technical qualification and POC exit criteria.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of pre-sales engineering and security architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience designing or deploying ransomware-recovery architectures, immutable or air-gapped backup solutions, or identity-resilience systems.
- Strong infrastructure background in backup, recovery, storage, or hybrid-cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID architecture, ransomware kill chains, immutability, air-gapping, and zero-trust concepts.
- Scripting and API proficiency, particularly with Python and PowerShell, for demonstrations and POCs.
- Strong communication skills for technical, executive, customer, and internal audiences.
- Professional English proficiency and willingness to travel as required.
- Preferred: specialist or overlay SE/SA experience at a data infrastructure, backup, or cybersecurity vendor.
- Preferred: existing technical relationships or competitive experience in backup, cyber resilience, or data security markets.

- Starting pay range of $240,000.00-$300,000.00 annually, with potential bonus, commission for sales functions, and/or equity eligibility.
