Responsibilities
- Own and drive deep technical problems with cross-Search and Google impact.
- Help establish the Content as a Service offering.
- Collaborate with Search, Knowledge, and Information leaders to develop São Paulo as an engineering center of excellence.
- Build technical understanding and trust across teams to support ambitious Search goals.
- Mentor and develop team members in technical and non-technical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- At least 5 years of full-stack development experience across backend codebases such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ and frontend technologies including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of software design and architecture experience.
- Experience with ETL, data architecture, and system integration.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
