Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable, modular, and cross-platform test automation frameworks.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute reusable automated tests for UI, APIs, databases, and potentially mobile or desktop applications.
- Collaborate with QA leads and developers on test strategy, planning, automation scope, and continuous testing.
- Integrate and maintain automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, including troubleshooting failures and application or environment defects.
- Manage test data and environments, investigate inconsistencies, and provide fixes or workarounds.
- Document automated tests, test cases, coverage, and automation status in tools such as Jira and TestRail.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product owners, mentor junior team members, and review automation code.
- Identify opportunities for automation improvement and technical debt reduction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience testing e-commerce order fulfillment, particularly with SAP Commerce (ccv2) and SAP ECC SD/MM; experience testing or developing APIM is desired.
- Proven experience building test frameworks and applications and working with Git.
- Solid experience with API automation testing, microservices solutions, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Strong experience with Docker or similar technologies.
- Experience working in Agile environments and independently driving assigned work.
- Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or similar cloud solutions, Robot Framework, Selenium Grid, and reporting tools such as Grafana or Report Portal.
- Strong cross-functional communication, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement skills.
