Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, implementation, and end-to-end delivery of complex multi-platform application software solutions.
- Build GenAI system frameworks, develop and refine prompts, and implement GenAI systems in production.
- Lead development teams by providing technical direction and guidance on complex assignments and projects.
- Translate business and strategic objectives into actionable technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and product owners.
- Support data ingestion and feature engineering efforts in partnership with AI data scientists.
- Execute software development projects involving advanced problem solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking.
- Drive technical decisions and recommendations affecting processes, tools, services, and other organizational areas.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience in Java or Python.
- Strong Java or Python backend development experience, including REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong experience with React, modern frontend development, micro-frontend architectures, and reusable UI components.
- Hands-on experience or strong understanding of Agentic AI concepts and LLM integrations.
- Understanding of prompt engineering and GenAI development tools including GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, and Claude Code.
- Experience with cloud platforms and technologies including OpenShift, Kubernetes, and S3 Object Storage.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Spec-driven Development, Camunda 8 development and customization, vector databases, or RAG architectures is preferred.
- Strategic thinking and strong interpersonal skills for working across functions and businesses.
