Base Salary
$173k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and iterate agentic AI systems with cross-functional teams and customers.
- Build and ship production-grade software and end-to-end AI agents or complex AI-driven applications.
- Design systems in which AI agents integrate into human workflows at scale.
- Build and maintain shared system context containing system designs, constraints, and standards for reliable AI operation.
- Evaluate human- and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
- Implement and debug model training, evaluation, and inference pipelines.
- Deploy ML systems using Docker and cloud platforms.
- Apply prompting, orchestration, evaluation, and advanced prompt engineering to LLM-based systems.
- Use AI development tools to improve engineering speed and work across the technology stack.
Requirements
- Exceptional engineering skills and a strong track record implementing deep machine learning systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and solid experience with C++ and/or Java.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience building production-quality systems.
- Practical experience with LLMs and agentic workflows, including tool use, planning, memory, and multi-step reasoning.
- Experience building end-to-end AI agents or complex AI-driven applications.
- Familiarity with prompting, orchestration, and evaluation for LLM-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks and a strong understanding of ML fundamentals.
- Experience implementing and debugging model training, evaluation, and inference pipelines.
- Experience deploying ML systems using Docker and AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with distributed training or inference and performance optimization.
- Advanced prompt engineering skills and the ability to create reliable, secure, production-ready AI outputs.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor in development workflows.
- Competitive coding achievement or experience as a founder in an agentic AI or LLM startup is valued.
