Base Salary

$87k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Support XML/SGML technical data delivery to airframers, airlines, and MRO organizations.
  • Provide technical support for change management, content management, publishing, reporting, analytics, and related technical publications systems.
  • Design, develop, integrate, and implement new systems and enhancements to improve digital publications and automation capabilities.
  • Develop and manage project plans and business processes, including requirements, risks, dependencies, execution, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the full systems development lifecycle from scoping and requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Troubleshoot application and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, IT teams, customers, vendors, partners, and third-party software providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Technical Communications, or a related field and five years of relevant experience, or an advanced related degree and three years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in systems engineering, information technology, software or application development, systems integration, or technical publications.
  • Experience with XML/SGML-based technical publications or digital maintenance data and standards such as ATA iSpec 2200 or S1000D is preferred.
  • Experience with systems integration, application support, and complex technical environments, preferably in aerospace, aviation, MRO, or engineering organizations.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases, including Oracle and PL/SQL, is preferred.
  • Experience with XSL/XSLT, HTML, IETP development, Python development or scripting, Jenkins, or CI/CD automation is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under the program or contract.
