Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain secure and scalable ServiceNow software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software complies with design constraints.
- Develop custom widgets, pages, and UI elements for the ServiceNow service portal.
- Build integrations between ServiceNow and other applications using REST APIs.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to identify patterns and improve coding hygiene, application quality, and system architecture.
- Debug issues and develop proactive monitoring approaches to maintain platform stability.
- Mentor junior developers and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- 6+ years of extensive ServiceNow experience leading design, development, and implementation.
- At least 2 years of experience with the ServiceNow ITSM module.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, HTML, CSS, and Angular.
- Experience developing ServiceNow portals, custom widgets, pages, and UI elements.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other applications through REST APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with HR Service Delivery, ServiceNow Virtual Agent configuration, UI Builder, configurable workspaces, and ServiceNow certifications.
