Base Salary

$156k - $219k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of autonomous agents using Python, LangChain, LangGraph, and related ecosystems.
  • Implement ReAct and Agentic Reflective Loops patterns with robust inter-agent communication using MCP and A2A.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate user needs into scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Champion software engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, observability, and responsible AI behavior.
  • Guide and mentor engineers, conduct technical reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Author and review technical proposals and root cause analyses while maintaining clear documentation.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate innovative approaches into development processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least seven years of software engineering experience with a strong background in web application development and modern frameworks.
  • Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI or Django, and autonomous agent frameworks.
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, vector stores such as FAISS and Pinecone, and RAG pipelines.
  • Familiarity with LLM evaluation tools such as LangSmith and TruLens, prompt testing, and AI observability.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to align technical decisions with business goals.
  • Proven ability to foster a culture of engineering excellence.
  • A master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline is highly desirable.
  • Experience creating performant user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or other frameworks is preferred.
  • Previous digital advertising experience and curiosity about Disney’s media business are preferred.

Benefits

  • Full-time role with a hiring range of $155,700–$218,700 per year for specified locations in California, New York, Washington, and Connecticut.
  • Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits.
