2027 Internship – Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Complete a variety of challenging software development projects during the internship.
- Design, develop, and optimize proprietary low-latency trading systems and trading algorithms.
- Improve the scalability, performance, and efficiency of trading systems.
- Develop trading tools that support all stages of the firm’s high-performance trading system.
- Help design and architect trading systems for scale and support large volumes of data.
- Work with senior mentors and the development team on real-world problems.
Requirements
- Rising junior or student expected to be ready for full-time employment between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Excellent academic background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and either Java or C++.
- JavaScript experience is a plus.
- Lower-level programming experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong quantitative problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude.
- Comfort working across frontend and backend projects and different programming languages.
- Ability to identify issues, create solutions, take initiative, and work independently and collaboratively.
- Motivated, tenacious, and capable of contributing to team goals.
