Base Salary
$118k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain components supporting observability tools, data pipelines, and engineering systems.
- Implement features that improve system monitoring, data collection, and analysis.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency and workflow productivity.
- Update engineering data models and integrations across systems.
- Debug issues and contribute to root cause analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Deliver data-driven insights that improve system performance and reliability.
- Improve code quality, documentation, and team processes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience building and maintaining applications with modern programming languages such as Golang, TypeScript, Python, Java, C++, or Rust.
- Experience with frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with version control such as GitHub and CI/CD or configuration-based deployments such as Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
- Preferred experience with observability platforms including Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic.
- Preferred familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Preferred experience in large-scale engineering environments and exposure to distributed systems or streaming platforms.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Math/Statistics, or a similar quantitative field; a master's degree is preferred.
