Responsibilities
- Design and build new functionality in SAP MDG and PLM systems.
- Develop integrations between SAP PLM, LeverX IPS, and SAP ERP systems.
- Gather requirements, define specifications, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Establish master data governance frameworks, workflows, approval processes, standards, naming conventions, and validation rules.
- Enable product lifecycle processes through system enhancements and automation.
- Optimize engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes through PLM and MDM solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership on PLM and data management practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, IT, business, and technical teams.
- Prepare functional and technical documentation and conduct training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of SAP MDM and MDG solution design and implementation experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with PLM tools such as SAP PLM or LeverX IPS.
- Strong understanding of SAP materials, vendor, and customer data structures, BOM management, and engineering change management.
- Proficiency in SAP MDG configuration and customization.
- Knowledge of PLM system architecture and integration methods including IDoc, BAPI, API, and middleware.
- Experience with data modeling, workflow design, integration development, and BRFplus business validations.
- Understanding of manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-engagement, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
- Proven experience building and deploying new solutions rather than performing routine system maintenance.
