Responsibilities

  • Implement end-to-end Smart TV automation and simultaneous certification for first-party and third-party applications across multiple TV platforms.
  • Build scalable Python and pytest automation frameworks covering smoke, functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Support CI/CD orchestration, pipeline provisioning, nightly runs, quality checks, and artifact publishing.
  • Develop AI-enabled test generation, traceability, risk-based prioritization, self-healing flows, and dynamic scaling.
  • Implement resilient automation patterns such as retries, reconnects, fallback paths, and failure diagnostics.
  • Create engineering and leadership quality dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, or equivalent tools.
  • Partner with development, DevOps, product, and release teams to improve testability, quality strategy, and production readiness.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, planning, documentation, and automation best-practice adoption.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of video-domain automation experience with module-level ownership.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience coding Python-based automation frameworks.
  • Experience with OCR and AI-based screen validation for TV user interfaces.
  • Experience with CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions and familiarity with pre-commit and secure quality practices.
  • Experience building executive-ready quality dashboards and reporting systems.
  • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, LLMs, and agentic workflows.
  • Technical expertise in Linux operating system architecture and device models.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services, Docker-based execution, scalable runners, and containerized automation environments.
  • Minimum qualification can be a bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of software engineering experience, or 4 years of software engineering experience.
  • A master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related area is preferred.
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices is preferred.
