Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and improve software applications and existing codebases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform coding, testing, debugging, peer reviews, and application performance improvements.
- Build event-driven applications using Kafka and Kafka Streams.
- Develop microservices and enterprise applications using the Spring Framework.
- Work with distributed databases to support scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems.
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Helm and Kubernetes.
- Develop and support cloud-native applications and services in AWS.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools for coding, testing, and productivity.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- Experience designing and building event-driven applications with Kafka and Kafka Streams.
- Experience developing microservices and enterprise applications with the Spring Framework.
- Experience with distributed databases and scalable, resilient, high-performance systems.
- Experience in Java software development, Kubernetes, AWS, SQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred.
