Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk analysis, application development, and model development.
- Design, build, test, implement, monitor, and support new or revised application systems and programs.
- Develop Java and Spring-based microservices and Kafka-based event-driven systems.
- Use PL/SQL for database development and optimization and ECS for containerized applications.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Develop post-implementation security measures and support system design and functionality.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and provide user and operational support.
- Define operating standards and processes, assess technology and business risk, and maintain compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, advisor, or coach to senior stakeholders and lower-level analysts.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Java and J2EE.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience designing and building microservices-based architectures.
- Strong experience implementing Kafka for event-driven systems.
- Knowledge of container technologies, specifically ECS.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL for database development and optimization.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting or project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred exposure to AI tools and practical prompt-engineering experience.
