Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases for software products, features, systems, solutions, and customer-specific use cases.
- Create and maintain test plans and strategies covering functional, performance, stress, error-handling, fault-tolerance, and interoperability testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites, testing tools, and test infrastructure.
- Submit quality defect reports with reproducible steps, customer impact, and issue-isolation details.
- Install and configure integrated solutions under test and provide configurations and descriptions for passing and failing tests.
- Test interoperability with third-party vendors and support product acceptance reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in large-scale integration environments.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python, scripting, and analytics tools.
- Familiarity with networking systems, hardware and software configurations, network switches, cable modem termination systems, mobile applications, gaming applications, data analysis, and data engineering.
- Experience with automated software testing tools, scripting languages, SQL, and relational databases.
- Expertise with Wireshark or another protocol analyzer is desired.
- Experience with Selenium or similar web or mobile application automation is desired.
- Ability to write and independently execute test plans for functional, system-level, performance, and deployment scenarios.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes, software development life cycle, and iterative software development methodology is desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
